The Toto Funds were founded in 2021 as a Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund. Toto is focused on making investments in Puerto Rico that create jobs, improve housing, address energy & food security and increase the tourism component of the PR economy.

Shawn L. Hanson CV
Retired from a career in executive leadership at a US credit union, Hanson’s passion is in helping hard-working individuals, business owners and investors keep more of the money they’ve earned by using tax-efficient investment vehicles to invest in double-bottom-line projects.

Educated (BBA and MBA) at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Hanson grew up in Wisconsin and currently resides with his wife and business partner Kim in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He has two grown children (Brandon and Kate). Outside work, Hanson enjoys building things, farming and
learning by engaging with others.
